Hotel Victor Masse Paris, Paris

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms overlooked the street, and the lack of air conditioning made it noisy with windows open. On the bright side, the room could be darkened during the day, helpful for jet lag recovery.

The hotel had no air conditioning making the rooms stuffy unless the window was open, which was a bit dated but clean. It was quiet and dark, offering good sleep close to the trains. The staff was nice, and the breakfast had a good variety, providing good value. However, the room decor was a mix of clashing colors and the bathroom felt a bit basic. The toilet was a bit small.

I stayed at a hotel that was conveniently located near Pigalle metro station and felt safe with great bars and shops open late. The rooms were fairly new and had modern bathroom tiles, but they were small, making it hard to move around. The service was exceptional, with helpful staff who even provided a fan without request due to warm weather. The dining area was busy but served a decent continental breakfast. The location was ideal, with easy access to main tourist areas and transportation hubs.
